You can find Ray’s Ski Shop in Myrtleford; the gateway to Victoria’s Alpine resorts, approximately 90 minutes from Mount Hotham and Falls Creek.

Huggins Lookout

Head off on this short uphill walk in beautiful Bright, three and half hours north-east of Melbourne, and be rewarded with incredible views. This return walk is 1.6 kilometres and will take around one hour to complete. After a steep climb, reach Huggins Lookout and take in stunning panoramic views of Bright along the Ovens Valley towards Porepunkah.

Ovens River Trail parkrun

A free, fun and friendly weekly 5 kilometre community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it’s up to you. Every Saturday (except when rarely cancelled), also special events possibly on Christmas Day and/or New Year’s Day. Tronoh Dredge Hole

The Tronoh Dredge holes was once the location of the biggest bucket dredge in the southern hemisphere. It operated from 1942 to 1954. At the time it was the highest producing dredge in Victoria.
