Ovens River Trail parkrun
A free, fun and friendly weekly 5 kilometre community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it’s up to you. Every Saturday (except when rarely cancelled), also special events possibly on Christmas Day and/or New Year’s Day. Nightingale Bros have been growing and selling apples since 1954. The orchards are renowned for growing fresh crisp apples which are full of flavor. Bright Splash Park
Bright’s new natural themed splash park has opened up in Centenary Park, alongside Morses Creek, and is a great drawcard for families to Bright and surrounds over the warmer months. Mount Buffalo Adventure Abseiling
Completing the beginners abseil, then tackling the 45 metre free fall abseil. This adventure has all the abseils of the beginners abseil then it is followed by a 45 metre free fall abseil looking across the gorge to the 300 metre North Wall of Mount Buffalo.
