Mt Buffalo Rock Climbing

South Wall Advanced Abseiling (Full-day)
Feel like a full day adventure to challenge you mentally and physically? Tackle our South Wall Abseil. This 250 metre abseil can be a big challenge as the first pitch is 90 metre long looking over the Ovens Valley and out to the Australian Alps. The abseil has another four pitches followed by a hike out looking at some of the historical spots of Mount Buffalo. This experience is provided by Adventure Guides Australia
Ovens River Trail parkrun
A free, fun and friendly weekly 5 kilometre community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it’s up to you. Every Saturday (except when rarely cancelled), also special events possibly on Christmas Day and/or New Year’s Day. Please register on the parkrun Australia website, only once (you then are registered to attend any parkrun worldwide). Follow their Facebook page, or message them there for any extra information.
Reform Hill Myrtleford
Reform Hill in Myrtleford, approximately 3 hours’ drive north-east of Melbourne, is a popular spot for bushwalking with evidence of past mining and spectacular views of the Ovens Valley, Mount Buffalo and the Victorian Alps. Reform Hill Lookout Loop is one of several walking tracks around Reform Hill. The walk is 3.7km and takes approximately 1 to 4 hours.
