Mt Fainter Pack Horse Tour
Showcasing the West Kiewa, Pretty Valley and Mount Fainter, this expedition includes high plains, heritage huts, brumby country, wild rivers, stunning views and secluded camps, our renowned horses and campfire meals. The horses are a feature of this expedition, each of them our own bred and trained mountain horse, expertly matched to the rider. Quaff Wine Bar
Situated right in the heart of Mount Beauty, Quaff Wine Bar is all about the fantastic local wines that make this area special. They’re here to keep it simple – showcasing awesome wines and creating a laid-back hangout for both locals and visitors. No frills, just good drinks, good vibes, and a great time. They’re also serving coffee from 2:30pm until closing and plating up amazing local produce to snack on.
Winter Showcase Opening Event
Award-winning landscape photography duo Matt and Mieke would like to welcome locals and visitors alike to view their Winter Showcase, a curated exhibition of Winter photographs from Mount Buffalo, Mount Hotham, Falls Creek, Norway, Finland, New Zealand and Iceland. In addition to the evening event, the Winter Showcase will be on display daily except on Wednesdays. No bookings required. Browsing is welcomed.
Bright Winter Exhibitions
Bright Art Gallery is hosting its annual winter exhibition, featuring the Alpine Artists with paintings, photographs and 3D work on the theme of winter. There will also be a display of watercolours, glass and ceramics, and the Buckland Screens from their permanent collection. The winter exhibition will also display the second annual Winter Exhibition of Contemporary Art, with this year’s theme Ephemera.
Winter In The Alpine
