A free, fun and friendly weekly 5 kilometre community event. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it’s up to you. Every Saturday (except when rarely cancelled), also special events possibly on Christmas Day and/or New Year’s Day. If you are heading to the snow this winter, grab everything you need at Ray’s Ski Shop. Pick up your lift tickets, ski and board hire, chains, and snow gear at Ray’s on the way through to Falls Creek or Hotham so that you’re ready to hit the slopes as soon as you arrive. You can find Ray’s Ski Shop in Myrtleford; the gateway to Victoria’s Alpine resorts, approximately 90 minutes from Mount Hotham and Falls Creek.

Bright Winter Exhibitions

Bright Art Gallery is hosting its annual winter exhibition, featuring the Alpine Artists with paintings, photographs and 3D work on the theme of winter. There will also be a display of watercolours, glass and ceramics, and the Buckland Screens from their permanent collection. The winter exhibition will also display the second annual Winter Exhibition of Contemporary Art, with this year’s theme Ephemera.
