A high flight from Bright Flight will take you up there.
You will meet in the Landing Paddock before the drive up the hill, and you will be briefed on what to expect next. From takeoff, your tandem pilot will find an invisible column of rising air, and turn you in circles to spiral higher and higher above the valley floor.
Every season has its own advantages. In spring you will see waterfalls glistening off Buffalo. Summer, being in the air above Bright, brings a bit of reprieve from the hot days and in autumn, well, there's no better way to see the tree colours than a glide over town.
Late autumn and early spring may let you catch glimpses of snow-capped mountains.
The flight will take between 25-30 minutes, and will include climbing in thermals, often with other local and visiting pilots. If there are clouds in the sky, they might get high enough for you to touch them, before gliding out across the town of Bright and heading in to land at their landing zone.
