The races attract spectators from all over the eastern states, maintaining its proud history and securing it's standing as one of the premier picnic race meetings in country Victoria.
There is a six-race program, with the feature event the Milestone Dederang Cup. Enjoy Fashions on the Field, children's activities, great food and drink options, live music and entertainment. Once the horse racing is finished stay on to experience the spectacle that is the famous Dederang Mile. Speedsters of all ages put their bodies to the test and take on a full lap of the course proper under race conditions. This is followed by the winner takes all Tug of War challenge.
