ANZAC Day – Myrtleford

The ANZAC Day dawn service will be conducted at Memorial Square in Clyde Street, starting at 6:00am.

The march from the RSL sub-branch to the memorial will commence at 10.45am, before the mid-morning service at 11.00am in Memorial Square, followed by the unveiling of a bronze bust of First World War Myrtleford nurse Sister Elizabeth Rothery, along with a bronze plaque of Second World War Myrtleford nurse Sister Alice Margaret O’Donnell.

Refreshments at the Myrtleford RSL sub-branch in Smith Street will be served following the unveiling. Gold coin donations for refreshments go to support widows and families of war veterans.
