Across three unforgettable days, the Tour brings together around 500 riders from across the country to test themselves on some of the most scenic and challenging roads in Australia.
The event opens on Friday evening with a fast-paced Criterium through Bright's town centre, creating an electric atmosphere for both riders and spectators. Saturday sees two stages: the legendary Gaps Loop road race, featuring the climbs of Rosewhite and Tawonga Gaps, followed by a precision Time Trial in the Buckland Valley. On Sunday, the Tour reaches its spectacular finale with a summit finish atop Mount Buffalo Chalet, offering breathtaking views and a true test of endurance.
Supported by the Alpine Cycling Club and powered by hundreds of local volunteers, the Tour of Bright is more than just a race — it's a celebration of community, sport and the alpine environment. Visitors can enjoy world-class racing, vibrant town energy, and the hospitality of Victoria's High Country. Whether you're competing, spectating, or simply soaking up the atmosphere, the Tour of Bright is a must-see highlight on the summer cycling and events calendar.
