Centenary Park & Howitt Park

Bright Victoria

Centenary Park is a terrific safe and friendly park, situated on the Ovens River with BBQs, toilets, seating, swimming, fishing, shelters, and ample parking and close to the town centre.  In 2014 the Bright Splash Park was opened, with four different ‘platforms’ designed with different age groups in mind.  Water squirts from water cannon, buckets, circle creating walls of water and endless fun.

The playground has climbers, slides, a flying fox, chain net climber, swings and spring rockers for your enjoyment!  A lovely place to spend a day with your family. Close to all facilities and delicious food outlets.

Howitt Park is located at the end of Howitt St in Bright. There is an electric BBQ and shelter and public toilets.  Picnic tables and a grassy bank line the river making it a lovely place to relax and enjoy the tranquillity.    The Sibley sound shell is located in the park, making the park a popular location for events and music.    The Bright Make It, Bake It, Grow It markets are held in Howitt Park on the third Saturday of every month.
